Fragments of the city are artistic outputs (engraving and printing works on paper in different sizes) that embody the concept of demographic transformations and their impact on the urban plan and landscape of Gaza City. They point, in one way or another, to the relationship between the requirements of modern life and the extent of their impact on the city's landmarks, especially the archaeological landmarks. They also raise questions about the image of human existence and its interventions in the city's identity, and what the fate of the unknown future holds for the remains and features of the old city. They create an imaginary scene through which the city plan is recreated by introducing new visual tools and visions with a modern character for the classical image.
